The CorpVine story
I joined the U.S. Navy at 17. It’s where I grew up, both personally and professionally, and where my work in training began. As a career counselor stationed overseas, I organized the Transition Assistance Program for a base that was closing, helping service members prepare for what came next.
Years later, while working for a staffing company, I volunteered to build a change management strategy during a merger. I was nearly finished when I came across the story of King Hezekiah, a leader who guided his nation through sweeping change. It reshaped my approach, and my path.
In 2005, I left corporate America to start The Corporate Vine, committed to building a business on biblical strategy, not just biblical principles. The name comes from the image of a vine bearing fruit.
My first major client was a federal health agency, where I became certified in DiSC. Later, I joined a team designing training for the branch I once served. I rewrote its life skills curriculum and led the design of programs supporting deployment, family reunion, new parents and first responders. Helping redesign the Transition Assistance Program brought me full circle. It remains some of the most meaningful work of my career, and the relationships I built with therapists still shape my work in mental health today.
The words we hear most from clients aren’t about deliverables. They’re “you know our culture,” “trusted advisor” and “you’re part of the family.” That’s what CorpVine is built on: knowing your culture well enough to design learning that reinforces the values that spark your growth.
